APC recently expanded its keyboard video mouse (KVM) switch offerings to include four new switches. These switches include 16-port and 32-port analog and digital models that feature Virtual Media and support up to eight remote IP users.
"The switches reduce time and costs associated with updating an installed server allowing IT administrators to update servers through the KVM Switch, decreasing the time and costs associated with updating an installed server," says Carl Kleynhans, regional director: Africa, Schneider Electric. "Access multiple KVM Switches from a single dashboard through the included APC Network Access Software. The Digital KVM Switches also integrate with APC Switched Rack power sistribution units (PDU) for seamless power management."
KVM Switches help to meet customer needs for server access and administration. They improve return on investment through centralised access to servers in data centres, computer rooms, and remote branch offices.
